The latest album, "Four Calendar Cafe" (the one I mentioned above and in my possession) focuses on Fraser's appealing voice. It is, they all realized, their biggest strength and what draws people in. With the help of everyone combined, the outcome is very soothing. u listen to this once you will like something about it. The surreal sounds, hypnotic echoes, or whatever it may be. It's a good investment of money and time. Cocteau Twins would be a great band to see live if you could get past the language barrier and just enjoy the sound. As I've carefully studied the male population over the years, I've decided that men fall into three basic categories: Lance Romance, Mr. Conceited Hot Shot, and Knight in Shining Armor. The first type of man is Lance Romance, who swears that he is God's gift to women, believes women are falling at his feet everywhere he goes, and compliments with only one thing in mind. Lance will purposely be seen without a shirt, hoping someone will notice his six pack and wash board stomach. Anything a person of the opposite sex says to him will be comprehended in his mind as "I want you." Age does not matter to Lance. In most cases, the younger the better is his philosophy. The word "no" is not in his vocabulary. Mr. Conceited Hot Shot is the guy that goes out of his way to ignore you and make you feel like a complete loser. Mr. Hot Shot gets his thrills out of criticizing others who don't look as good as he does. Mr. Hot Shot usually has one thing going for him; his looks. He is a very good looking and he knows it. His face is in the mirror more times than a house full of teenage girls would be. Mr. Hot Shot spends a lot of time with friends, hanging out at social places and causing trouble. School is not a high priority in this guy's life. The third type of guy, Knight in Shining Armor, is every girl's dream and believes in treating a lady like a queen. Knight does not expect anything in return. He seems to sweep every woman off their feet with his charms. Roses are a common choice of gift from this guy. To him, roses symbolize how much he cares. Knight will worry about the feelings of others over his own and has a tendency to put his heart on the line. He believes in giving sincere compliments, yet he does not go over board to the point of annoyance. In Knight's eyes, no one person is better than another. Not every guv fits into these categories. Lance Romance may also have a shy, quiet side, it's just seen as often as the other side of him. Mr. Conceited Hot Shot may have a compassionate side to him, yet he seems to be afraid of showing it, thinking someone might notice. Knight in Shining Armor isn't always the right one for everyone. His niceness may become annoying and tiresome. If someone really thinks about it, they would probably figure that most men have a little bit of all three types in them. It just seems that one type will dominate over the other two.
