Artists Michael Manring Mike Marshall BAND Theatre Season Begins with "Anything Goei their Tracie Hensen Editor in Chief The Dixie College Theatre season is planning a great year ahead, beginning with the first production, Magic by Cole Porter Records Recording THE MONTREUX n THING GOES Hill Anything Goes. Originally appearing in New York in the 1930s, Anything Goes is a musical performance featuring Cole Porter classics like I get a kick out of you, and Lets Misbehave. Performing the lead role of Reno, is Charlene Love from Texas, who was an attendant in the Dixie College 1987-8- 8 Homecoming Queen Pageant. Reno is an evangalist turned nightclub singer in the 1930s. Don Leavitt, from Salt Lake City, is cast in the role as Billy Crocker, a Wall Street junior executive, a song and dance man, and a master of humor and disguise. With both of them loving someone else, they help one another to capture loved ones. Hope Harcourt, performed Kirsten by Busk from Richfield, Utah, is young, beautiful, and loved by Billy Crocker. However, a British baronet, Sir Evelyn Oakleigh, played by Perry Eicher from St. George, has Hopes hand in marriage. A former Dixie College performer Annett Minor, from Moab, Utah, will play Hopes mother, Mrs. Harcourt, who of course approves of her daughters engagement. Other performers are, Greg Daines as Elisha J. Whitney, Billys boss and Wall Street tycoon. Andy Jones, Beaver, Utah, plays a minister of the Angelical Chinese Church. Thom Hall, Sandy, Utah is cast as the ships Captain and Brent Hepworth from Kanab, Utah plays his steward. Paul Jensen and Jennifer Jones, of Orem, Utah, will be performing as Moon Face, Public Enemy Number 13, and his gangst moll, Bonnie.
