The new council will be Kami Shaw, Secretary; Julie Kerr, AWS; DEI Beatty and Synda Eckardt, Activities; Hal Hiatt and Heidi Buckner , Publicity; Darren Earl, President of AMS; Jeff Lewis, Vice President of AMS; Derek Esplin, ICC; Jason Wells, Presidents Assistant and Kris Moyes, Special Events. t (It was) very exciting to pick the exectutive council, though very difficult, commented Kendrik Snow, when asked how he felt after the final decisions were made. The president elect also noted that attitude was a big factor in determining the council. The willingness to work, the enthusiasm and school spirit ttie members have shown will make it an exceptional council and in turn benefit the college, remarked Snow. Currently, President Snow is working on opposing the tax roll back initiative facing the state of Utah. He is also trying to get registration and voting booths on campus for the 88 Presidential Elections in November. Other worthy goals he will be working on, as promised, are a student section in the Burns Arena, providing more outdoor lighting on campus making it safer for students at night, and more creative activities during Spring Quarter for the students who get burned out on dances. The U.S. reprisal attacks on terrorist nations were favored by 81 percent, 10 percent were against it and 9 percent were undecided. Concerning prayer in public schools, 41 percent were in favor, 43 percent were oppos- - ed to the idea, and 16 percent were undecided.
