Show FRIDAY, MAY 14, 1965 THE DIXIE SUN ' Agnes the Wallflower Happy May 14th to all of you wallflowers who found it necessary to relieve a little tension and join Agnes Babe for a relaxing ook at those lovebirds who can be seen walking to and fro around oar campus. Actually it is rather disgusting to see Delwyn Cox and Lois Losee looking eyed at each other. This romance has lasted nearly a whole year. It must ha true love. n Have you heard the latest? Fawson can no loger be classified as one of us. She seems to light up every time Jim Cox nears her. Shes got the habit, Im afraid. Then there is that old Dick Whitehead and Alice Riding. This little spark has lasted longer than a number of people thought. The biggest mistake of the year, Judy Sheffield, doesnt seem to be a mistake as far as Richard is concerned. In fact he loves the error! It seems that most returned missionaries try to make up for lost time when they return home and our LM, Linda Hart is no exception. She doesnt mind getting her Personalities: Beverly and Lawrence Who claims Fredonia, Arizona (a suburb of Short Creek, in case you didnt know) as home, and is active, cheerful and fun to be with? Beverly Brooksby! Bev had help and coaching from an interested onlooker (guess who?) with this interview, and is attending Dixie because of its nearness to home, its weather and because it is the only place that would have her. goo-go- o De-an- two-som- e Bar-nu- m lovign. There is a fued between Don Leavitt and Don Fawson. It seems that the Fawson boy kissed Celia Eldridge. And on the front of the stage too. (By the way, where is the front of the stage located on Celia?) Im sure the problem is not an unsurmountable one, how ever. It seems that Don L. and Celia have kissed and made up. And I noticd that Donald Eric and Ding Don Bell have kissed and made out or is it up? Talk not wallflowers, of Margaret Trumans hand. She has an oversized class ring upon it. And the ring belongs to none other than Joe Cox. Such excitement in the lives of a sophomore. PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT NO. The Snake in the Grass is in no way related to Agnes the Wallflower. I will not be held responsible for anything said by him. Did you know Bliss Parsons told me a fib the other day? He told me he wasnt going with any girl. Well, that very night I saw a little hanky-pank- y going on between him and Suzanne Bennion. Now another juicy bit of the latest. Julie Todd has a mad crush on David Lloyd and from what I can gather he doesnt mind being 1: crushed. Its PAGE 3 much more cozy that way. PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT NO. 2: Today is Be Kind to Poor Wallflowers Day. Please take careful steps to be as sweet and kind to any wallflower seen on campus. You might even think of getting a date with one for the Boys Day Dance. Im sure they wouldnt mind. Everyday at 10 a. m. you can see a bright glow hanging around the desert garden at the science building. All it is is Jeffery Ralph Atkin and Cheri Bennett. Tennis did a lot for this couple, they found each other on the court and now Ralph is courting her. HINT FOR ALL WALLFLOWERS: Take up Tennis! Susan the Savage has blazed a trail into the heart of Bruce Jonts. Shauna Cornelius is late for Music Theory class everyday. Some Peanut is taking up all of her time. Did you know that Bev North is in love again? Mike Wadsworth is the lucky recipient. Paula Mercer gave me the word that Sharon Peterson and Mamell Bullock are going steady. Sharon told me that Paula and Dennis love each other. Fun, huh?? AGNES THE GAY WALLFLOWSAYS: Fare thee well for I must leave thee, Do not let the parting grieve thee, Remember I will return again next week! Barbara Gregory and Lois Jack-so- n in the graveyard? Ill bet they thought the local fuzz couldnt see them. Monte VreNon in bed with the miseries. He swears that his party the night before had nothing to do with it. Jorgensen and Smitty having the same type of illness as Monte VreNon. John getting a Dear Barrus from Grantsville. Lawn mower Glines at it again. But Ted Cain says its OK since he and Carolyn Dastrup have an u iderstanding. Mark Hansen to losing his pants at Zion Canyon. (Must have been a hot day.) Judy Roman about to become a pro wine taster. (Bali High ring any bells?) Steve Marshall and Mark Hansen doing room check. But at the Girls Dorm? T2 couldnt really be that messy.
