This is a scene from Kismet, in which she has the female lead. Jon Green is the Caliph and Marian is Marsinah. Our pert girl of the week was bom March 17, 1940, begorrah. To celebrate her birthday last year, the Navy launched a satellite around the earth. Next year they plan to launch Marian. She will make a very attractive satellite. In fact there is sure to be a boom in skywatching equipment, comparable to of a few years ago. the Marian has sparkling blue eyes, a sincere smile, and long natural blonde hair. Jon Green Is Personality of Week Jon Green was born coughing a choking in the smog of Los Ange! in 1940. He is democracy in actic When he was only five years o his parents wanted to send him school, but Jon insisted on going' the local recruiting office to enl in the Marines. As far as schoolinr is concerned, Jon plans to go on: mission after completing Dixie ant then to the U. He intends enter either music or medicine. Singing seems as natural to her as walking does to the rest of us. In Kismet, she wanders through the scenes leaving the echoes of golden Headquarters for - h ever-prese- notes behind her. Between songs, they hang in the air, as faint as oriental incense. Marian plans to finish Dixie and is considering gracing the U. of U. with her presence. Her interests are: dramatics, sewing, dancing, and cooking she loves to cook, you guys. Furthermore, she designs her own clothes. What a bargain package in that petite frame. This is her first play at Dixie, but she did several in Hurricane. Presently, she lives in the dorm, but still considers herself a resident of Hurricane, which is a much better place to be a resident of than, say, Cedar. Why? Because it snows in Cedar. Marian is sure to delight audiences during performances this week, and we can only hope that this fair mademoiselle will continue to be seen and heard in Dixies productions.
