Contest Gathering much enthusiasm and momentum at Dixie College is the annual heard growing contest which got underway Friday, Jan. 20, and will continue until March 20. According to Stephen Thompson of and Fred Wilkinson, the contest, an entry fee of twenty-fivcents will be levied on all those entering, with prizes being awarded to the one with the longest, heaviest and novelty beards.
