Cast is Chosen For "All My Sons" After tryouts which afforded strong competition, both as to members trying and talent displayed, the play cast for All Mv Sons was chosen and according to Miss Henderson, it is a very strong one. The cast is headed by a strong father and son combination of Rodney Nelson and Gary Snow. The mother part, which is one of the most difficult acting roles, will be played by Viola Ashby. Joan Esplin, a junior high school student this year, will be seen in the role of the charming Ann Deever. Two other newcomers to Dixie this year from Hurricane and Juab High School in Nephi, give promise of fine performances. They are Lida Brooks and Claudia Hansen. Dennis Shakespeare, from Anchorage, Alaska, a newcomer to the stage as well as to Dixie this year wdl play the very dramatic role of George Reever. Ronald Theobald, of Magna, will help Lida and Claudia bring the comedy scenes to life. The part of Bert, the little eight year old boy, will be played bv Kenneth Schmutz; his scenes will add interest and fun to the I!ay-lis- play. This play will he produced in the Dixie College Auditorium, Novem- ber 6, 8, and 10. |
