Show The Dixie Owl, St. Oeorge, Utah 10 SENIOR DETERMINATIONS That the year end may find us with nobler aims, more charitable, more generous, and with increased friendships; that we may be successful in all our good endeavors, live up to the best that is in us, and stand for truth and freedom, we hereby make the following resolutions to guide our foot- steps: To make the graduates of 1920 the banner class of the D. N. C., deserving all the honors due us ; to face the stern realities with a cheerful mein. To study to the greatest of our ability, to expand to the greatest of our capacity, to excel to our greatest extent, and at the same time have all the pleasure that is coming our way. To graduate, then take Mr. Nicholes advice. Resolved Not to hold hands with the girls Henry M. Wayne. Not to make any more bets during leap year. Lizzie. To quit standing by Gates and study Webster. Since the leap year dance I resolve to dance with the unpopular girls. Merril S. I resolve to accept the first girl that proposes to me this year, provided she is fair, feeds well, loves company, is free of speech, sings, plays and dances well, takes domestic science, and can appreciate my jokes. Alma. To sit on the front seat in history class. Emily, Eva, Gladys Me. and Zelma. Grant. To be merciful, so that by Spring I may obtain Mercy. Karl M. Not to be more than twenty minutes late for class. Ruth W. To attend choir practice every week, and choose my favorite Him. To stand up for the Freshies. Hazel. Not to worry. Roy W.
