| Show THE C CHORUS LADY ADY was some show all right especially the second act when the chorus girls were aboin mailing their tollet toilet behind the scenes a good many ladles in the audience felt just juat about like aunt polly did when she and her brother david harum sat and watched the dancing girl whose raiment could have ben been covered by a postage stamp according to david himself but tho the men looked oni on and thought it was a swell show the horrid creatures B but ut the play is a good one oven even t f it is a little out of the ordinary tor for this neck of the woods it depicts the life ot of a chorus girl in every detail even to the slang used by that ilk and many valuable lessons can be learned from it the work of 0 miss aylesworth Ayles wortA was splendid as in fact the enjiro production was and after the second act had been safely passed over those who were more or less shocked really enjoyed the show there la Is a question however whether such plays as the chorus lady have a very great moral mona effect tor for good it could happen that the effect would be just tho the opposite and so plays of it that character are not the tho ones that staid plaid communities like to witness witness any amount or of matey or farm loans lee and dunn tr tf |
