| Show architects W ILL DRAW PLANS yesterday the board of education was in s session all day considering the proposals la of the various architects who have asked for the privilege 0 of o dranon drawing the plans for the school buildings that will be erected throughout the county it was agreed last week that architect kletting of salt lake city would be given the high school addition and architect C F wells of 0 this city will work in ili conjunction with him mr kletting was present yesterday at the meeting of the board and submitted sub pencil sketches of 0 the addition as a sort of idea to the board what could bedone be done ills his work received careful consideration arid some changes were suggested architect hodgson of ogden was awarded tile the north central centra school in this city and architects shreeve madsen of 0 ogden were awarded the buildings at bear river city willard Wll lard south elwood and perry the balance of the work was not awarded but will receive further consideration at a meeting to be held on wednesday ot of next week all the architects wac were instructed to prepare their plans at once in order that the work might com commence menco at the earliest date possible it Is also very probable that one set of plans may be used in the erection of several buildings provided of course coune they can be adapted to the various localities where the buildings are needed in that way the expense of getting out plans would be materially cut down the board members made a trip to logan on tuesday for the purpose of inspecting the buildings over there and get pointers what they saw impressed them very favorably in some respects in just a very short while now the greatest building boom that ever struck box bos elder county will be inaugurated augu rated and there ought not to be a single individual who Is at present out ant of work who cannot find cometh ing ng to do it is proposed to have all the he new buildings ready tor for use at the he beginning of the school year next september |
