Equipment revenues will increase by 2.8 percent, whereas service revenues will rise by 3 6 percent during the next year. Other projections for 1986 by the association included that business equipment statistics will increase by 3.5 percent to $23.9 billion. Electronic typewriter sales will rise by 8.7 percent to $1.25 billion, whereas revenues from the sales of text processing work stations will increase by 6.2 percent to $3.4 billion. Total office copier sales, in turn, will reach $4.8 billion, an increase of 6.7 percent over 1985.
