Show NINETY-FOUR CRADUATE FROM EIGHTH CRADE All schools throughout the County closed uniformly after a school year of eight months, except the high school of Huntington and the eighth grade and high school at Greenriver. Before consolidation con-solidation Greenriver schools convened nine months, and in order to give the eighth grade the same priveleg thisyear the sc' 9 l patn n i paid the teacher's salary the last month. As a result there were seventeen graduates from the eighth grade and no failures. Mr. Blackburn at Huntington taught the largest eighth grade class in the county. The total enrollment being thirty. Ninety-four young people graduated from the eighth grade in the county this school year. This number represents repre-sents eighty-four per cent of those who took the examination. This large per centage of failure should influence school boards, school faculties, and school patrons to cooperative action. Many think the teaching profession difficult and dry, but manv interesting expressions and humrous misunderstandings misunder-standings creep in.
