| Show alfie DESTROYS TITHING SHEI an early morning fire last friday morning burned the hay bay shed at the tithing yard partially down and destroyed about 22 tons ot of hay the fire started on top of the hay and must have been started by tramps who had spent sp ent the night there 1 in throwing a lighted cigarette down mr air S N lee the tithing clerk had bad just just reached his office and noticed people running across the street thinking that there had been an accident of some kind he stepped to tho the door when he saw the smoke and lames flames in the top of the hay shed the firemen responded ropon ded in a hurry to the alarm and saved part of the shed but it was deemed wise to lot let the hay continue to burn until there was nothing but ashes left as it was ruined anyway the loss of the hay will approximate ind atrid the shed wag valued at the hay fork cable and other fixtures belonging to it wore were also destroyed to so the total loss will reach close to no insurance c was carried |
