Show RETIRING BISHOPRIC PARTY One of the grandest socials ever held in the Huntington ward took place May 29th in honor of retiring Bishop Anton Nielson and his counselors. E. J. Grange, Martha Marshall, and Lizzie Brockbank acting as committee. Nearly every family in the Huntington Hunting-ton ward was represented. We were also honored with Pres. L. P. Oveson, Counselor A. G. Jewkes and Scake Clerk O. Sorenson and wives. A. E. Wall who could not be present sent a kindly message. A party was given for the children in the afternoon. At 7:30 in the evening eve-ning the public gathered at the church j where a program was rendered. The congregation sang, "Where the Voice ; of Friendship's Heard," conducted by1 H. A. After the program the people gathered gather-ed at the Commercial all where supper was enjoyed and the evening entertainment enter-tainment ended with a grand ball in the Relief Society Hall. All joined in extending good wishes for Bishop Nielson Niel-son and counselors. |
