Show PARENT-TEACHERS ORGANIZATION OR-GANIZATION IS EFFECTED Meeting In the local ward hall a week ago last night, a goodly number of parents of local school children, working in cooperation with the district dis-trict school teachers, effected a local parent-teachers organization and a great deal of benefit is expected to I come of the move. These organiza-j organiza-j tions are recommended by the state superintendent of Instruction and by j the county school board as an aid to la better understanding of the school I problem. ! The local meeting was arranged for j by Principal L. E. Acord who presld-i presld-i ed at the meeting until the new offic-! offic-! ers were elected. A short program j was rendered. : The following officers were selected j by those present: H. A. Wickman, j president; C. A. Winters, vlce-presl-' dent; Mrs. Eda Dyches, secretary-treasurer. A program and publicity committee Is composed of Orson Mad-sen, Mad-sen, chairman, Mrs. Emmer Day, and Mrs. Stena Bott, The membership committee is composed of Mrs. Ellis Wilcox, Mrs. George Brandon, and Mrs. M. C. Wood. |
