Show I PUBLIC SCHOOL NOTES i Usually school children keep track of the day of the week, but the time gli.Ies so rapidly that Friday seems but Thursday. Thurs-day. Flying moments are always happy ; ones, therefore school days must be joy- i ful moments to all. Thanks to all who have helped us to ! obtain the fifty new volumes of the best children's literature which are now being handled by the pupils. Mr. Acord's department gave him an j unlooked for visit Wednesday evening, ' and brought with them many good things to eat. All had u very good l time. j Punctuality could be greatly improv-; improv-; ed. An alarm-clock would fill a long j felt need. "We will come again," said a merry crowd of teachers and friends, as they j departed Thursday evening from a very enjoyable party at the home of our ! principal. I Miss Smith has given her first grade the name of "Busy Bees. " The second are known as "Willing Workers." There are still a few who do not live by their motto. No visits from the parents the last few weeks. Come dear friends, and see what we are doing. |
