"Well by then we'll have a new arena" Mr Wynn answered And the answer is yes: the new arena wouldn have a beer scoreboard he added of all the recommendations suggested one task force member at the the recreation area He encouraged the state to consider lands administered by both the Bureau of Land Management and Forest SerVice as compensation for lands within the recreation area "With all the talk of the Winter Olympics there might be a way to make a trade with the Forest Service for some rights to lands needed for the Olympics" he said Terri Martin Rocky Mountain regional representative for the Nation al Parks and Conservation Associa state-owne- d lion disputed the land boards claims that a land sale is necessary because the federal government has been unwilling to negotiate a trade She said Gov Norm Bangerter attempted in 1987 to work with the Department of Interior to negotiate a land trade involving land in the parks and Indian Reservations That effort died said Ms Martin when county officials couldn't agree on which lands the state should acquire outside the park The state subsequently announced its plan to acquire the five blocks of land within Glen Canyon National
