Show HUNTINGTON A busy week for the seed men. They are like the two political parties. Two or three outfits competing for the seed and when they tell it, they each have it all, but it's a fact, the seed is coming in fast this week, man here unloading near all the time. Mr. Windheim from Iowa with Mr. Leonard, and Mr. Ludlow of Provo, with Geo. M. Miller. In this way the seed lingo is kept hot. Quite a number of our people off to conference tnis week. Our bishop with counselor Kiilpack is leading the gang. There is sorrow at the Coilard home. Just received word that their daughter, Mrs. A. E.Johnson of Cowley, Wyoming was lying in a critical condition, was hardly expected to live. Also their son Vermle was sick with typnoid fever at a hospital in Kansas. Let us hope that things are not so bad as reported. The young men's mutual will hold their first meeting of the season in conjoint con-joint with the young ladies next Tuesday Tues-day evening. A special program is being be-ing prepared for tne occasion. It would be well for all the young men and ladies to attend this meeting and get acquainted acquaint-ed witn the season's work. I believe our sick are all well again and we know of no new ones. Our district schools are full, ten grades in eight departments, 326 students enrolled. We have a good set of teachers, all at home but one, Miss Kimball of Salt Lake. |
