Show Old Pennsylvania Bank Note3. The state treasury at Harrisburg, Pa., which frequently receives "shin-plasters" "shin-plasters" and old forms of currency and bank notes for redemption, was recently asked to pay the value of two notes of the Northampton bank of Allentown, which a citizen of that part o the state had discovered at his home. The notes were dated In the late '30's and one was for flva dollars and the other for ten dollai3. It was found upon inquiry that the bank closed its doors at one time and the writer had admitted It. The notes will be returned if the writer wants them or will be kept among the curiosities curi-osities at the capitol. |
