Show Saving Manure. The saving of manure upon the farm is one of the most important considerations for all farmers. That there Is great value in liquid manure, and its saving of much consequence to the farmer, because of the additional addi-tional trouble and expense attending it, it is hardly advisable to recommend recom-mend such course until the solid manure ma-nure of the farm is attended to. Farmers, as a rule, are too negligent negli-gent in their efforts to save the manures ma-nures made upon the farm, or those substances which by proper composting com-posting possess manuria! value. Perhaps the use of improved implements imple-ments and machinery upon the farm, together with the use of commercial fertilizers, has been the means of inducing in-ducing a state of less activity on the part of farmers, a condition leading to a state of partial indolence. |
