Show 2 , j j 1) The Salt Lake Tribune, Friday. Mai.h y ! W ,ww.;,er i "'tttCffRltl i ry',v "w Tulips will greet next year r soap there for someone else to use. Mrs. Louise Mrozek DEAR HELOISE: Our daughter is getting married this spring and she wants to have the church decorations different and also add a warm personal touch. 4 Instead of decoratHr ing the church and reception hall with cut fresh flowers (they wilt and die so 8 fast), she plans on JL l usn putted plants. Something very col-orful, such as tulips S and azaleas. The bulbs from these plants will be lleloise planted next fall and lay dormant all winter. Then, the following spring on our daughter's first anniversary, the plants will be blooming beautifully and will bring back all those precious moments, only a year earlier when they were united as one. I guess this isn't really a hint but maybe a good suggestion someone might be in-- i terested in using. Tern Esquivel DEAR IIELOISE r Whenever I travel and go into the ladies' restroom in a restaurant or some other place I am not always able to find soap, so I came up with this idea. I had leftovers of soap ends so I cut aluminum foil into about three-inc- h squares and wrapped a tiny piece of soap in each one. Now when I go into one of those soapless restrooms I just reach into my purse and have my own soap to wash my hands. Then, when 1 have finished, I leave the of piece DEAR IIELOISE; Do you have any idea how many 6 feet plus people there are in this world who have to sleep catywompus on the tied or hang off at the foot? Possibly there is no bed or no money to room for a king-size- d buy one! Heres an idea to build up the head of the regular bed as follows: Scoot the mattress and springs down as far as need be for you to stretch out comfortably. Then build a box, same thickness as the box springs and mattress, cover with foam rubber and place this box between your headboard and box springs and mattress on your bed rails. Jj 4 Hi, Works perfectly! Just think of all those cramped up, sleepless hours you spent trying to get comfortable, when you could have been with very little sleeping like a baby Willis E. Gassman effort! Super! Now all you have to do is take an old sheet, cut off about 15 inches and sew that to your old sheets and blankets and you are all set for a comfortable and cozy lleloise night's rest ' DEAR IIELOISE: When our grandson was a little fellow, 1 would picture letters to him and he was so happy to gat them. He would keep them in his pocket or sleep with them under his pillow. I would wTite something about happenings here, about birds, fishing, our dogs, etc. and put pictures pertaining to these things. e ' f 4,1 grandson was small : 1 too, liked to get these and this he, repeated letters from Grandma. thought I would just pass this along to other grandmothers. to please the A litt'e something grandchildren. When the Thanks, Heloise, for your column. I have received so many, many good hints and time savers through your efforts. I wish I could repay you in a better way. Thanks A Reader from again for being you. Junction Thank you. A Reader from Junction, for your fabulous comments, and you have thanked me already by just writing and Heloise sharing with all our friends. DEAR HELOISE: This is how I dry mittens, gloves, caps, etc. I place a wire shoe rack fthe kind that sits on the floor) near a w arm spot on the floor (heat register, refrigerator vent). Each damp item can be placed upside over the individual shoe holders. They will dry quickly because the stand allows for good heat and air circulation.
