Show Immorality of Boys I It is rather a shameful thing to have j immorality charged against some of the j boys of the town who spend Sundays floating in the cool water in front of my home. It is disgraceful when boys j and young men will strip and go in bathing in front of a man's house, caus ing the girls and women folks to blush in shame for them every time they step outside the door. The girls are obliged to remain home from bnth Sunday school and meeting on this account. Of course it is out of the city limits and it makes it difficult for me to call on the marshal so I decided to fill up the hole, a id in the attempt I crippled one of my horses and broke my harness. I have plead with the boys on several occasions to abandon their obscene bathing in front of my house but to no avail. Kindly take a hint, now, that I want it stopped or I shall call on the assistance as-sistance of the law. ' Respectively Wm. Magnussen. |
