' 1 The shocking murder, recently committed com-mitted at Sunnyside, is an evidence; of the desperate conditions in the -dull times, and men who have farms should consider themselves fortunate that their livelihood is assured them,' not speaking of the pleasure of working for one's self, There are many of our men away at these camps who depend sdlely ! on their wages and who own land ,that is lying idle. Better to be a farmer and raise your own foodstuff than to depend on a coal company to get it for you.
