F ire Chief Charles Paris said the two medical technicians will be on duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week to serve the area of White City, Draper, Riverton, Bluffdale, Herriman and South Jordan. He said the move is made because the funds for the medical services in the fire department comes from the general fund. Dixon, Arlington, Va., to serve as first counselor in the temple presidency, and Clyde Elmer Black, Kensington, as second counselor. President Eames and President Dixon have served as counselors to President Drury during the past five years. A native of Preston, Idaho, President Eames was a management consultant prior to being called to the temple presidency. He earlier had retired from a long government career that included 20 years with the Federal Bureau of Inves- tigation 4 and several years with the U.S. Departments of commerce and transportation. He is a graduate of the University of Idaho. The new temple presidents church service includes several years as a stake president and as counselor to a stake president. He has also served as a bishop and bishops Counselor. He and his wife, Nedra fcole Eames, have one son and six grandchildren. Mrs. Eames, a native of Fairview, Idaho, will serve as temple matron. She has long been active as an officer and teacher in the various auxiliary organizations of the church, and as a Sunday School organist. President Dixon, 70, is also an Idaho native. He was born in Downey and is an Idaho State University graduate. He earned a graduate degree from Benjamin Franklin University in Washington, D.C., where he later served as a professor and an administrative officer for 34 years. He is currently a practicing certified public accountant in Virginia. He has been a bishop, Sunday School teacher and youth leader, and counselor In a stake presidency. He also has been instrumental in developing a large church welfare dairy farm in the Washington area. He and his wife, Mabel Patra Hackney Dixon, have two children. President Black, 59, is a native of Bulloch County, Ga., and has resided many years in Columbia, S.C. He was in the ceramic tile business from 1959 until 1977, when he retired to devote his time to service in the Washington Temple. In the church, President Black has served nearly nine years as a stake president and has also been a bishop's counselor and a member of district and branch presidencies.
