Pikeville, Ky., the newlyweds took in her four sisters and a brother and reared them as if they were our children. The Sowards shared home and business real estate and investon equal terms. Two Mighty Pillars The two main areas of emphasis will be the free enterprise system and the family. The two, which she calls "the two mightiest pillars of the country," will be woven into the fabric of all programs in the six areas of GFWC interest, home life, public affairs, international affairs, education, conservation and arts. The GFWC will continue programs, projects including community Improvement program, conservation seminars, career development and affiliated artists. CARE, SHARE, and its crime prevention program. "The family and the free enterprise system are beginning to crumble. The central problem we fare is complacency. Our free enterpise system is shackled by too much petty government regulations and unnees-sarbureaucracy. We can begin a redirection of our economy and we can preserve the family."
