Ms. Cal fee has been assigned to the Northwest Multipurpose Center, 1300 W. 300 North, to assist families and individuals with problems. She is at the center on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from p m. Ms. Caffee noted that the Department of Family Services deals with child care, family planning, birth control, homemaker services, foster care, nursing homes, adult care and medical service's. Her role is to help individuals resolve their problems either through referral to family sen ice program or to other community agencies and serv ices. Ms. Caffee noted that under the Social Service Title 20 program day care funds are available to assist low income families with the high cost of child care. Tuition is also available for school training. Serving as a link to the community, she said, she has also helped individuals in need of emergency food, clothing or housing. Information or appointments can be made by calling the Northwest Center. Appointments are not necessary. The clinic is 0en from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Utah law require acceptable medical evidence of immunization which means a doctor's signature on the immunization certificate or a copy of the child's immunizations with date's. Shots available include: DPT for diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough (four doses are required); Polio, for poliomyelitis (three doses are required); Measles for red measles and Rubella one dose each.
