Show Electrical Farming. Very successful efforts have been attained at-tained by William Stahl, of Evanston, 111., in his efforts to facilitate th growth of vegetables and grain by the use of electricity. He has a network of wires spread over his farm at a point about eight feet above the surface, sur-face, and after the seeds have been planted a current of electricity is maintained constantly passing through these, and In this manner the air Is kept in a constantly charged condition At times the polarity of the wires and ground is changed so that sometimes the earth Is the negative terminal and at other times the wires are. Specimens Speci-mens grown almost side by side, ex cept that some were In the field oi electric Influence and others were not have made a great showing In favor oi the use of the current.
