Show j EMERY Last Sunday morning about 2 o'clock i the whole town was aroused by the ringing of bells. Casper . Christensen's j corral and yards were burned to the i ground. A hundred chickens and four or five pigs were burned to death; also ! his hay and grain stacks were burned i up. Every man in town and many of ! the women and children came out to fight the flames, but they were notified too late. How the fire was caused is unknown. Boy babies have arrived at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Nielson Jr., Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Pettey. Rufus Jensen and Miss Belle Richardson, Richard-son, of Ferron, were guests of Miss Lilace Olsen last Tuesday. On Tuesday evening of this week tl.e Young Ladies Association gave a very successful dancing party. Their "annual "an-nual fees were collected, and enough money taken in to pay the expenses of the dance. |
