Show PERRON The ward choir is preparing a play to be given one week from Friday. The play is "Tony the Convict." It is a five act drama and has some of Fer-ron's Fer-ron's best talent to act it out. Mrs. Charles Aldredge received a visit from the stork recently A baby boy was the result. Johnv Stevens and wife entertained a large crowd on the ;13th in honor of the former's birthday. Dinner was served at 2 o'clock p. m. At night the carpet was taken ont of the large room and dancing was the order of entertainment enter-tainment until 12 o'clock. Plenty of wine and fine eatables was served. Ferrol Huntsman entertained the young folks of town Monday evening at an oyster supper. The peculUrty of the supper was the absence of the oysters. None could be obtained in town excepting one can which was used to season th? soup. Elder Calvin Jensen returned home from the northern states mission after an absence of a little more than two years. Elder Jensen looks very well and expresses himself as having had the time of his life. A welcome party was given Friday night at his home. Alta Allred is home after a visit in Salt Lake C ty and Millard county. Mrs. Clarence Lemon is on the sick list, also Mrs. E. K. Funk jr. Many babies and small children are suffering I'rom pneumonia. The threshing machine tank is very busy these days replenishing cisterns. |
