Pleasant last Tuesday to attend the funeral of Mrs. Mads Jensen, which was held this week. Mr. and Mrs. Abraham Wilson of Salt bake City are here visiting with I Mrs Wilson's relatives and friends I for a few days. They came to Mt. Candland returned from Salt Lake City last Wednesday where he has been on a business trip during the week. Roswel and Ernest McArthur returned return-ed from Idaho on Wednesday, where they went on account of a serious operation which their jister Sylvia Haward had had perform ;d, removing a large goiter from the neck. They also visited with their relatives in the Gem state before returning. Chas. Renberg went to Gunnison Wednesday on business connected with the sheep industry. Chas. Richardson who has been employed em-ployed in the Pyramid office for the past eight months went to Manti last Sunday and is working in the office of the Manti Messenger. Walter D. Armstrong of Elko, Nevada, Nev-ada, has been employed in the office of the Pyramid, and comes with the highest high-est of recommendations as a first class printer. He arrived last Sunday and was on duty Monday morning. Mr. J. Warner of Moroni enjoyed a verv pleasant visit in this city during ing the past week, being a guest of Miss Flossie Staker. John Gunderson went to Price last ; Friday to look after his business affairs 1 in that neighborhood. Mrs. O. R. Dibblee returned to her home in Salt Lake City last Saturday. She has spent several weeks visiting here with her mother, Mrs. W. D. f'andland. Verge Johnson returned to his school at Ewell again Saturday. Louis Peterson returned to his school work at Sandy last Saturday. Adelbert Barnett, who has spent the holidays here in Mount Pleasint guest of Louis Peterson, returned to his home io Kaysville last Saturday. Nephi Nyborg and family left for their home in St. Anthony, Idaho, last Saturday. Mr. and Mrs. Nyborg have been visiting with friends and relatives rela-tives here during the holidays. August Larsen returned to his home in Provo Saturday. Lafe Brotherson came home for the : holidays from Carbon county, after an j absence of several months. Mis3 Nellie McArthur went to Salt Lake last Saturday to take up her sen ioltwork again at the Alpine school v. here she is teaching this year. Little Ruth Dolores McArthur, who ; is only four years old, is becoming a favorite in her little circle at Washington. Washing-ton. She has taken part in a number of entertainments in fashonable Presbyterian Pres-byterian churches and also recited before be-fore Senator Reed Smoot. Mr. and Mrs. Parley Olsen left for Denver Colorado last Friday where they will make their future home. Mr. Olsen is interested in the drug business at that place. Mrs H. B. Cherry returned from Manti last Saturday where she went to spend New Years with her mother. Webster Boyden of Manti was in Mt. Pleasant last waek visiting with relatives. Miss Chloe Miner of Fairview spent the latter part of the week visiting in this city at the home of her sister, Mr. and Mrs. James Larsen. Arnold Steyensen and Cleon Poul-sen Poul-sen have returned to their homes in St. Anthony, Idaho, after spending the holidays in this city. Miss Roanna Larsen returned Sunday Sun-day to Salt Lake to resume her studies at the University. Miss Esther Lund went to Coalville last Sunday to begin her school wark again. Margaret Candland returned last Saturday to Morgan to take up her work as teacher again. Knute pJolstrom went back to the desert Saturday to herd sheep, again. Miss Jane Martin returned from Manti Saturday to resume her work at Wasatch Academy, after enjoying the holiday vacation with her mother and father. Jas. Monsen was a business visitor at Monroe this week. Lucile Frandsen returned to her school work at Centerfield last Sunday. Mrs. Ferdinand Ericksen went to Salt Lake City last Monday to visit with her husband for a few days. Miss Edna Eatson returned to Salt Lake City last Monday after having spent the holidays with her father in this city. Miss Arbrelia Seely went to Salt I Lake last Monday to take up her studies at the University. She was home for the holidays.
