IS at the Memorial Building, 3301 East 2920 South. West Valley police spokesman Valeen Roller said the man, David R. McLain, 33, arrived about 9 a.m. on Dec. 16 for a 9:30 a.m. court appointment. He had apparently decided to wait in his car. At 10 a.m., police detectives William Heath and Jene Lyday were informed a man had passed out in a vehicle in the parking lot. The detectives found McLain unconscious in his car with the motor running. Roller said the man had turned blue and stopped apparently breathing, asphyxiated by carbon monoxide fumes.
