Show SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS Sports Cowboys drop thriller to San Juan The Kanab Cowboys lost a tough one last Friday night in a dogfight with the San J uan Broncos. After leading by five going into the fourth quarter, Kanab could only manage one basket and three free throws in the final frame and lost by three, 56-5- 3. The Cowboys started the game with great intensity as Mace Glazier scored seven of the first nine points for the home team. This was the first and only basket by Kanab in the final period. After a stop by the defense, Dane Glazier was fouled on a shot attempt with 2:36 on the clock. In other younger action, both the sophomores and the freshmen lost big time to the Snow Canyon Warriors on Thursday. The sophs stayed with them for a half and trailed 0 after two periods of play.
