Bom August 2, 1918 in Los Angeles, California to Matilda Robinson and George H. Beeman. Married Dinny Kelly on Febru- ary 14, 1954 in Las Vegas, Ne-crvada Fred was bom in Los Ange- les, California and later moved to Las Vegas in 1931 when his mother and stepfather (the late Col. Bob Russell) opened the Apache Hotel on Fremont Street, attended the old Fifth Street School as well as Las Vegas High School, but soon returned to his native southern California to five with friends and graduate from Los Angeles High School. World War II kept Fred in Los Angeles at Bendix Aviation which was deeply involved in the war effort. In 1946 Fred decided to make Las Vegas his home and for a short time went into private business (the Embassy Club in North Las Vegas). Fred went to work for the Nevada Power Company in 1948 as a collector. During his tenure he began the company newsletter, the Livewire. After several promotions he left the company in 1961 to open his own liquor store. He was a founding member of the Exchange Club of Las Vegas and was its first newsletter editor. He returned to Nevada Power in 1973 as Customer Service Manager and retired in 1985 as Special Projects Manager. He and Dinny, his wife of32 years, moved to Kanab, Utah in 1985 to retire. Survivors include children, Beverly (Tom) Cornell of Sun Lakes, Arizona, and Gregg (Pam) Beeman of Bellevue, Nebraska; Don Brown; brother-H- e Allan M. (Charlotte) Kelly of Las Vegas; niece Laurie Kelly, nephews Matt (Barb) Kelly, son-in-la- w in-la- w Patrick Kelly, Fred (Anne) Bob (Sharon) Ruymann, Ruymann, and Bill (Marilyn) Ruymann; and grandchildren Daniel Beeman, Christopher Beeman, Jean Beeman, Kurt Cornell, Sennet Brown, Stanley Brown, and Stephen Brown. He was preceded in death by wife Dinny K Beeman, daughter Sue Ann Brown, and sister Rosemary Ruymann.
