S 5. 2A Drill Team All-Sta- te Three senior members of the Kanab High School Larricttes were selected to the Utah Dance and Drill Association 2A All State Team. Each 2A school was able to nominate three candidates. They then went to Juab High School where a dance was taught to the nominees, and auditions held. Twenty young women were selected to the All State Team, representing nine high schools. Selected from KHS (left to right) were Tasha Lowe, daughter of Mike and Wanda Lowe; Mikkel Brown, daughter of Matt and Julie Brown; and Shalae Gardner, daughter of Sterling and Shelly Gardner. The young women were awarded their medals and certificates at the State Drill Team Competition on February 5, 2000.
