This is a sneak peak of Life USA Extra 300, Big y, Style e j The skies over Parowan will come alive this July 23 and 24 with Utahs largest civilian air show. The Parowan Southern Utah Air Show will be held at the Parowan City Airport and will be a Salute to Southern Utah Lights, which can only mean neer and American Indian history at Pipe Spring National Monument. Ranger led demonstrations, tours and ranger talks occur daily at the monument. Topics include various aspects of the cultural or natural history of the monument (spinning, soap making, wood stove and Dutch oven cooking, moccasin making, Paiute perspective, gardening, telegraphy, geology, etc.). Most programs are scheduled two weeks ahead. In addition, this summer we will be featuring specific ranger led activities each month. These programs will occur on the same day at the same time each week for the entire month.
