They are Harmony Heaton, daughter ofKarl and Joy Heaton Alton, and Stephanie Roundy, daughter of Sheldon and Tracy of Glendale. At Girls State, the delegates study local, county and state 7-1- government processes. They do this by setting up their own min-t- o y iature city, county and state gov-Valle- ernment and administer them accordingto the rules and proce-a- t dures set up by their particular 2, states laws. This learning experience will better familiarize the partici-o- f pants with their duties as United States citizens, and will encour-Round- y age their participation in the democratic process as they progress into adulthood.
