Each " year during the two UPOA conventions, we find a charitable cause to make a donation to, explained Auxiliary President Eden Griffiths. The Peace Officers spouses raise money by holding raffles, making and selling quilts, arts and crafts, and other money making projects. In the past few years, Auxiliary donations have benefitted such programs as the St. George Care Center, Domestic Abuse shelters, Kids on Drugs programs, and performed manicures for the elderly. The UPOA Auxiliary purchased toys, books, kids chairs, and a wheelchair accessible playhouse for the Kanab Clinic. Dr. Vermeesch, Dr. Holley and hospital administrator Mike Sinclair gratefully accepted , the donations on behalf of the Clinic.
