Also awarded are the 1st place winners in all grades. The days activities centered on the Highway 89 cleanup, which was accomplished in record time this year due to volunteer efforts. The Earth Celebration Committee would like place-Forre- gether to celebrate the third annual Earth Day in Kanab and Fredonia. Another thanks to both the North Kaibab Ranger District, Kaibab National Forest and the Kanab Field Office, Bureau of Land Management for their continual support and assistance with this yearly event. The Kaibab National Forest was a major sponsor of the poster contest awards over the last two years.
