The Kanab area Christmas Bird Counters are among the more than 45,000 volunteers participating in the National Audubon Society's 98th Christmas Bird Count from December ry 4. Public hearing to sfudy zoning The Kane County Planning and Zoning Commission and the Kane County Commission have been studying proposed amendments to the Kane County Subdivision Ordinance and the Kane County Zoning Ordinance. The study has now been finalised, and the proposed recommendations are being drafted in final form by the Kane County Attorney. The Kane County Commission will conduct a public hearing on the proposed amendments at 1:30 p.m. on December 29, 1997, at the Kane County Courthouse. All interested persons are invited to attend. Copies ofthe proposals will be available at the office ofthe Kane County Clerk beginning December 16, 1997, for $10.
