Winter has loosened its grip on the high country east of Cedar City in time for our traditional Memorial Day weekend opening, Henry said, and the National Park Service invites visitors to come up and enjoy the visitor center exhibits, ranger talks, and views along the Cedar Breaks Scenic Drive. The visitor center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, and geology talks will be offered hourly for the rest of the season. Snow depths in the shaded areas of the park remain at two feet or more, with much deeper drifts in places, so the trails and campground remain closed. The Point Supreme Campground is scheduled to open on June 14, conditions permitting, and hikes and evening on that day. will begin programs Breaks about Cedar Questions National Monument may be directed to the parks administrative headquarters in Cedar City ranger-guide- d at 801-686-945- 1. hmf hme DMMiwir Non There's A Staple, Easy, LOCAL Way To Connect To The INTERNET. - We'll Set You Up With A Plan That's Exactly Right For You!
