Robinson, and a group of 40-5- 0 people rallied on May 21 at the Fredonia Forest Service North Kaibab Ranger District office to demonstrate their opposition to the Bridger Salvage sale. The Bridger Complex sale was authorized under the Rescission Act passed by Congress and signed into law by President Clinton in 1995. The Act allows the Forest Service to put out a sale without administrative appeal, with timing restrictions on lawsuits, and a reduced comment period from 0 days. This hinders all methods to delay or stop National Forest timber sales that special interest groups have utilized in the past. During the protest.
