Show BOUTEZSN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY Opinion MAY 14, 4 li7 Dixie Speaks Hats off to organizers of the May 7 Red Rock Cowboy Festival. The Kanab 10K run and 5K walk held on May 10 brought athletes from near and far. The event was a success, and attracted additional tourist interest (and dollars) to the area. Other weekend events included a vaudeville show performed at the high school, a golf tournament, quilt and art show, and team penning at the rodeo grounds. But there's more fun yet to come! The Kanab Civic Orchestra will be performing on Thursday, May 15 at the Kanab High School and at the Grand Canyon North Rim on May 17, while a rodeo will be held on Friday, May 16 and Saturday, May 17 at the Kaneplex Rodeo grounds. There will be a "Playday" held at Kaneplex at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, with the rodeo being continued that evening. All of these events take work, and the SUN would like to thank the myriad of organizers and volunteers who have worked hard to make Kanab look good. 10-1- well-organiz- ed , Letters to the Editor ' Ricftle , Young, 'fnterestinfg What is your opinion ?
