Show SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY AUGUST 21, 1996 Opinion Dixie Speaks Summer vacation has ended and school begins today for students in the Kane County School Dis- trict. Kids, young and old, will be out and around the schools. Their excitement over school beginning is often played out by lowered use of their sensibilities. They may not look both ways before crossing the street, and they may not notice that a car they are walking behind is backing out. Thats where we adults come in. We would like to urge motorists to slow down and drive with extreme caution around the schools. Please pay special attention to crossing guards and zones. We love and value our youth, and want every one of them to have a safe school year. Letters to the Editor What is your opinion1?
