The drive to Kanab by blaring music, obnoxious and sour-face- d was enjoyable as it meandered shopkeepers. People are warm, helpful, and through sleepy little towns like Circleville and Panguitch. Park, Duck Creek Village on While we hiked some of Bryce Cedar Mountain and Zion National Park are seen along the Canyons trails, I drove my poor mother nuts hanging over ledges way. The mountains changed to get better shots. Bryce was colors and texture with every quiet and not uncomfortably passing mile. Many were stark travelers perspective Youre just going to love this 1-7- 0, T-shir- ts, crowded during our visit. There were so many beautiful scenes with such splendid vistas- - this was a six roll day. It was very warm the day we drove to Lake Powell, and the sand was hot! But Fve never seen such oolor...the light blue sky and the aqua blue water were a treat to behold. We even had fun when we got stuck on the beach (very easy to do). But dont leave home without your sunscreen, because theres no shade. This was a five roll trip. We next drove to Zion National Park, my favorite of all the national parks. I cant even begin to describe how I felt about this place. With the Grand Canyon, you are so far above it, you can admire it, but you cant touch it. At Lake Powell, you are swimming in it, but the rugged shoreline sits back and does not let you get too familar. Bryce is so beautiful that it is hard to absorb it. But with Zion, as you hike along the trails, or float down the river...you can FEEL the park living and breathing. The canyons are intimate and close. The shadows and the play of colors along the road into the park itself, brings enjoyment to those who must wait at the tunnels. Zion warranted 10 rolls of film. I was sad to leave this beautiful spot. In the past, my family has rated our trips, but this trip was truly outstanding. Besides enjoying the afternoons and sunsets out on my sisters deck, the whole atmosphere in this area is one of laid back enjoy, have a good time, and see the sights we are so proud of. The red and white cliffs, and the rust colored mountains behind Kanab, remind me of old men sitting around a fire smoking their pipes, and contemplating what the past has been, and where the future will go. I have driven around this area and realize the vastness is something that Id like to soak up like a sponge, and be able to squeeze a little of it out when I feel overcrowded, and overwhelmed. I have made four or five trips back to Kanab and each time I head back home, I ciy when I leave these red mountains. I have taken so many pictures that I can buy stock in a film company... And I wont ever have enough for my visits to Kanab. AVery Unique Place to Visit Come celebrate our 44th year of business.
