Show SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS Opinion 4 WEDNESDAY JUNE 14, 1995 Dixie Speaks warm and sincere thank-yo-u to the Canyon Country Model T Club for hosting the Model T Ford Club of America's National Canyonlands Tour. Over 120 Model T's (and their owners, and their spouses, and some entire families) traveled to our area to enjoy the community's hospitality and the cameraderie of A fellow "T" owners. We would like to thank the clubs for choosing Kanab as a tour destination. We appreciate both your confidence in our ability to host the event, and quite frankly, we appreciate the dollars you spend! The other thing we would like to thank the car clubs for, is the trip down memory lane. Your beautiful machines and enthusiasm touched many hearts. Memories and imaginations were inspired. While there were a number of admirers who weren't around when these beautiful older cars were originally roaming the streets, were thrilled by the site of the old they never-the-lecars. Thanks for giving us a little piece of the past, and please know that we welcome and encourage you to come again. ss Letters to the Editor What is your opinion? A swarm of people from all over the country climb out of these funny little airplanes. They carry their weekend luggage into your town. They sleep in your motels, eat in your restaurants and shop in your stores. And yes, they fly their airplanes. The funny airplane people are used to these outings.
