Most of the pieces will be classical pieces, including the popular Cannon' by Pachabel. Some students will be playingin small groups, and some will be playing solos. The orchestra is also getting ready for the upcoming musical Scrooge, the Stingiest Man in Town, sponsored by the Drama Department. It will be an awesome experience. Orchestra is doing all of this without a normal class. Every Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings string players gather at 7:00 a.m. to play under the direction of McKay Shields. That doesnt include Scrooge rehearsals that are every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 a.m. These 20 string students need your support to show them that their hard work is worth ii. Please come tonight and listen to our accomplishments. Denotes 4.0 Chorus to perform Community The Richfield Chorus, under the direction of Ken Chamberlain, will present a Veterans Day Program at the Long Valley Elementary school auditorium, Friday, November 11, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. The program will include selections from World Wars I and II, written by Rogers and Hammerstein, Irving Berlin, Iloagey Carmichael and Lerner and Lowe. This program will honor all of our veterans and everyone is invited to hear and enjoy this presentation. Admission is free.
