Havent heard from the Valley Seniors but its sure they are enjoying their new bus and also their comfortable Senior Citizens Center. Its a fun place to go for a delicious lunch and visiting. The Valley folks are always so friendly, making it a highlight of any day you happen in. Here in Kanab the Center is getting nearer to the finished state each day. The kitchen is all done except putting in the sink and dishwasher. Delmer will likely get that done this week. He is without a doubt the busiest man in town. The linoleum is there and will be laid in the Grandma and Grandpa rooms this week. It sure looks great in the kitchen. The carpet is getting near to being put down. Everything is looking good. Les, with paintbrush in hand, is ever ready with last minute painting. He really has been a never ceasing painter. Thanks to him and others who have been so faithful getting things done. There has been no report of new members in the $100 Club this week. Would like to remind all committee members of the meeting Monday, June 1, to be held at the new Kanab Senior Citizens Center at 1:30 p.m. The public is always invited. This should be a very informative meeting. This meeting is for all Kane County citizens. No date has yet been set for the open house. Keep watching for the announcement in the S.U. News.
