The award has existed for six years, and prior to Tuesday evening, just schools, rather than entire school districts, had received the award. Diann Davis, the districts director of counseling and comprehensive guidance, received the award for the district. The award recognizes and spotlights exemplary career planning programs which underscore the importance and necessity of career planning as a lifelong need and required skill. Presenting the award was Capt. Clarence Craig Cude Jr. from the U.S. Army Recruiting Command and Dr. Lynn Jensen from the National Consortium of State Career Guidance Supervisors. My wife and I moved here in July, we have four children and they all attend Davis Cude schools, explained. And from the very first day we arrived here, weve noticed a difference in the schools, and we are pleased and happy with the quality of education that our children are receiving.
