Show THE STATE UTAH DIGEST PATIENT WAS STRANGLED BY BED RESTRAINTS, OFFICIALS SAY: A patient at the Rosewood Terrace Care Center in Salt Lake City died when she slid under a bed railing and was strangled by restraints that had bound her to the bed, according to health officials who have taken action against the center. State Health Department inspectors learned of the Jan. 6 death while at the center investigating a complaint about another resident's death from pneumonia Dec. 16. No violations were found in that original complaint. The most recent investigation found that the center staff did not try to revive the 45-year-old woman or contact emergency medical services. killed at least 11 deer, state wildlife investigators said. Deputy Emery County Attorney Mary Manley said the seven - all former or current Emery High School students ranging from age 15 to 19 - probably will be charged this week with wanton destruction of wildlife. Lt. Mike Milburn of the Division of Wildlife Resources said investigators cracked the poaching case after discovering carcasses and hearing of teen-agers who were bragging about killing deer.
