'Round about Roy Rick and Connie Haddon of are parents of a baby boy, born June 24 at McKay Dee Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd and Mr. and Mrs. : Burnham Jim Whinham have been spending several days at : their property in the Uintahs. ' The Whinhams have gone to . visit with relatives in the Bear Lake area. A houseguest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Allen Clapperton is Mill Eileen Sanderson of Star Valley, Wyoming. She is a sister of Mrs. Clapperton. Mrs. Sherrie Homer was the honored guest for a stork shower, held recently at the home of her mother, Mrs. Gary Johnson. Hostesses for the event were Patty 5383 S. 2200 W. Johnson, Johnson, and Denise of :Mrs. Homer. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Cox and their family, joined Mr. and Mrs. Richard Daley of Boise, Idaho for a trip to California. The Daleys are formerly of Roy. They went :to Disneyland and all the 'other fun places in that area, and then up the California coast to the San Francisco Bay area and then home. They were away about two weeks. June : sisters-in-la- Heiser is .recuperating at home after having surgery earlier this month. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Hughes took their family for a summer vacation to southern California, with Disneyland as the main point of interest. Upon returning home, they received word that Mrs. Hughes father had passed away at his home in Mississippi. They then drove back there for the funeral services. Duane and The Mike Strebel family vacation trip this summer. They were away about three weeks and went up through Washington into Victoria and Vancouver Canada, and across country to Lake Louise and that area. The Ted Olsen family has been on a vacation trip to and Idaho Boise, took an extended Oregon, had a great time together recently at Lake Powell. They rented a houseboat for a tour of the lake, and also did some water skiing and swimming. Fred Jr. and Gaye Call have a baby girl born June 19 at McKay-De- e They live at Hospital. 5258 S. 2425 Washington, where they visited with relatives. The Jack Reeds joined members of Mrs. Reed's family for a fun trip to Lake Powell, for boating, fishing and other water sports. Mr and Mrs. Wade Nuffer and their family, attended a family reunion in Idaho last weekend The Norvell Thompsons and the Mark Nielsens took a summer trip together, with some of their children. They went ot Los Angeles. Disneyland. San Diego and Tijuana. They were away about eight days. Houseguests at the Arnold Wursten home for several days were Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Butts, and daughters Karen and Kristen, and Mr. and Mrs. Glen Carlsen all of Sacramento, Calif. Mr. Butts and Mrs. Carlsen are sisters of Mrs. W ursten. They were joined by other members of their family on Saturday at Municipal Park for a family reunion. baby boy was born June Benedict's Hospital to John and Vicki Jex, who live at 2261 W. 4550 S. Mrs. Norma H. Lindstrom, 70, of Ogden, who died June 25 at her home, was the mother of Mrs. Cherrie Hammer of Roy. She had been a nurse at Weber Memorial Hospital in Roy for many years, and was an active member of the LDS Church. Funeral services were held in Ogden on Thursday. Dianne Roylance have a baby boy, born June 16 at McKay-De- e Hospital. They live at 2656 W. 5800 S. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Eldard had a delightful trip to Turkey and Greece earlier this summer. They spent two weeks in Adana, Turkey, with their son Richard and his family, who are stationed there with the Air Force. They also spent a week in Athens, Greece doing a lot of sightseeing. After returning from that trip they went to St. George to attend the commencement exercises at Dixie College, where their daughter Suzanne was one of the graduates. Kendall, 67, of 2368 W. 4925 S., died . : Monday, June 25, 1979, at the McKay-De- e Hospital. Mr. Kendall was born April 17, 1912, in Downey, Idaho, a son of David Earl and Lilia Irene Millard Kendall., On Aug. 8, 1932, he was . married to Annabelle Fisher in Logan. He had worked at Defense Depot Ogden and Ogden ' Implement Co., retiring in : . 1979. He was reared in Oxford, Idaho, and had farmed in .Oxford until 1962 when he came to Ogden. He moved to : Roy in 1965. He was a member of the LDS Church and Eagles : Lodge Aerie 2472 in Ogden. : Surviving are his widow of I has been passed on June 19, 1979.
